Bear Necessities had a humble, yet fortuitous beginning. Early one spring
morning company founder and president Lori Hogarth and her family
were visited by a grizzly bear looking for an easy meal. Her response
was to design and have fabricated her first bear proof waste bin
for the back deck of her house. Voila, no more bear.
Friends
and neighbours who were also being targeted by the hungry bruin
began to call, and Bear Necessities was born.
From these
humble beginnings Bear Necessities has become a leader in quality waste
management container systems.
